Description
With Primary Election Day having arrived, District Attorney Seth Williams, along with members of the Committee of Seventy and the City Commissioner’s Office, said they will be closely monitoring the polls for any signs of voter intimidation, problems with voting machines or any other issues voters might have.
Williams said that members of his staff would be monitoring the polls to ensure that a fair election is held. Registered Democrats will be voting on Democratic candidates, and registered Republicans will be voting for Republican candidates. The state’s controversial Voter ID legislation is not being enforced, and registered voters do not have to show photo identification card.
